Rikka shimputai (created in 1999) with usually 9-11 branches or stems, has virtually no regulations but is all about balance, harmony, perspective and movement. Each stem or branch angles from around 5 cm above the water level in all directions. Exotic flower material is combined with more common plants. Its purpose is to give a fresh and lively impression.
